M3 midnight kill

Was playing coming down the on-ramp, WOT in 3d.... was quite surprised to see someone allready on the highway gaining on me as I slowed to 80 or so...

Cop? Pfff... nope, Beemer lights... why is he hanging in my tail corner...? Kreeping up, nice wheels... oh, two guys, windows open, kreeping along my side, he's ready, high RPM's... I better get ready, downshift to 3d, and floor it! (He started it!) Got maybe two car lenghts before 4th, maybe gaining a fot per sec after that... figgured it was over and he'd order a Stang today... :smoke:

Later as he cruised by, actually looking angry (kinda; that is NOT stock angry) I saw it was the previous model M3...

Of course he was angry, he was driving a beemer.

They have issues to deal with, inferiority complexes and such....

Nice Kill! Those BMW guys usually get their noses out of joint whenever they get their ass kicked by a Mustang! Looks good on them and well done!!!!
Wouldn't it be better to throw it into 4th when you're doing 80?

Uh...?? NO! Deffinately better pull in third there!
If there is one car brand that, in spite of the fact that it is a finely engineered behicle, I utterly despise because of the average driver, it's the BMW. In my neck of the woods, every third car is a "bimmer" driven by a trust-fund baby...or his arrogant, "I don't need courtesy or skill, I drive a BMW" yuppie dad. There is no car I enjoy humiliating more.

I agree TOTALLY. (see my previous post)

I loves to smack up the beemers!:sterb: :sterb:
Hey, Yall should leave the beemer dudes alone. my grandfather has a 2000 328i that he bought used and I learned to drive in. They are good cars. DON'T GIT ME WRONG,
I still love and will always love my mustang but we should be worried
about the stupid wanna be jap cars with the wing and muffler.
If they would do somthing non-cosmetic, they might be a little more
respectable. My 4 banger still spanks ones with the muffler and wing.
"est. run that there is 400 japanese cars to every one mustang"
(just playing) gotta keep em beat down or the bugs will infest.
I used to race M3s and it is an awesome car. I still look at the 740s, M models, etc. But open the hood and there is a big plenum... boring! I want to see my engine, and rebuild it! Oh and not pay a leg and an arm for something a Mustang beater can beat... :tongue

My grandpaw isn't some yuppy either. he also owns a 91 F150 4x4 with the
5.0 . He says that as soon as he gits enough money, he wants an 05 mustang GT.
I never said BMW is a bad car. In fact, above I said "Finely engineered vehicle". But I would not be caught dead driving one. That's just because of the area I live in: Southern California, land of too much money and not enough brains. The guy with the wraparound shades, red baseball hat on backwards and Abercrombie & Fitch complete outfit for the modern metrosexual, cutting you off after passing in the wrong lane, then slowing down in front of you while veering because he is on the cell phone to his daddy's broker..well, you get the idea. Yeah, that would be 9 out of 10 BMW drivers here. There's always that 10% that actually values the car, yes. But that's the rare exception here. If I could I would *****-slap the average BMW driver on sight I would, but I have to be content with making them suck on some tire smoke.
My .02

I like those M3's. Slick looking cars...my only problem is like Hal900 stated, those cars tend to attract money-loving a-holes. That's probably why our mustang fits us in these forums so well. We all want to have a fast American car for a modest price.
You can't really knock the car itself. It's the drivers I hate. Weaving all over the road with no signals, tailgating and whatnot that makes me mad. Those rich SOB's think they own the roads. Screw 'em.
as it stands, the BMWs are o.k. cars. I agree about about the 90%
of drivers not having as courtesy as they need to have.
