Mach 460 no sound from speakers, only tweeters

Recently all the bass just quit in my speakers, front and rear. The tweeters on the doors work fine and the rear tweeters work fine. There is no sound other than what is coming out of the tweeters. I checked to make sure power was getting to the back amps, and it was. Do you think that it is both back amps? Would they both go out at the same time, or is there something else I should check. I also replaced the head unit with another Mach 460 unit, and checked all the fuses and they were fine. Please help!

If your getting power to the speakers (Which you are because the tweeters work) Are you sure it's the tweeter's that are the only speakers working? I mean the 5x7's don't make a sound?

I'd guess a bad amp. There's NO way that four speakers can quit on you like that for no reason.
I see that this is a really old post... but did you ever figure out what the problem was? I'm having the same issue on my blazer. I know this is a mustang site but i was just curious what you had to do to fix it

I believe it was a rear amp, but I really don't remember. It could have also been the Cd deck part of the system. I know I had to replace it, but not sure if it was at the same time the speakers quit working. I'm quite sure it was either a rear amp or something messed up in the cd deck. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. It was just too long ago for me to remember exactly which one it was causing the problem.
