i dunno what kind of area you're from (whether its densely populated or pretty rural) but if you go to a pretty populated place, maybe a busy highway and you just sit there and look at all the cars, trucks, buses and things that go by, all consuming gasoline and diesel

there are SO many cars out there pumping out so much exhaust gases... and just think, that is just in your area.. you still have the rest of the world to consider..

so i am personally glad there is at least the requirement to have catalytic converters on road vehicles

yeah i dont know im not neccesarily talking about that im just talking about this whole going green thing. I feel like all the prius's, hybrids, etc are all part of this restrictive emissions stuff and i hate how people try to claim were destroying the earth and stuff. no doubt hybrids are good and all to save gas but it seems like everyones trying to inforce it and make us feel guilty if we dont "do our part"

Well move to a different state if you don't like the emissions test, here in Arkansas there are no tests required but most everybody still has the cats, mainly because you lose a decent amount of low end when you remove them and since most everybody's vehicles are DD's they tend to keep some form of them on there whether high flows or factory's. Except for the pure ******** with the big ol jacked up chevy trucks with straight pipes, (stereotype most people think of in the south :bigthumbsup) all they want is a loud @$$ exhaust haha.
