Ok so I got my magnapacks installed on friday and they seem to be only a little bit louder than my chambered flows(50 series I believe). Before I had the catback piping put on I drove it around for a few miles with just the mufflers. It was loud but there was way too much drone. So the muffback(lol) piping went on. Now it seem super quiet and maybe a few decibel's louder than before.

Other than the loudness, they do sound good and I like them! Just was expecting a big difference in the sound level...

I have a stock midpipe btw.

That's the next step after I get a tuner to turn off o2 sensors. I just had higher expectations due to the research I did before the purchase.

Go get a set of spark plug fowlers and drill them out so your O2 sensors will fit in there... plug them in and go...just saved you $400

Fowlers? Are they the same thing as mil eliminators? Besides I need the tuner to set my gear ratio for the 4.10s I have waiting to be installed. Besides I found a used one for $170. The other thing is I will get a decent boost in power. With the tuner.

You really wont notice that big of a gain in power but if you can get one for that price then scoop it up!

That will be the next thing UPR or/x should do the trick. Quick question, with the rear o2's turned will it pass inspection as long as they don't use the sniffer or do a visual inspection?

They will get louder over time once they get broken in. I have them on my car w/ Magnaflow catted x pipe.

Yeah, the quiet part is no longer an issue, an or/x fixed that right up:D
