Hey friends,
I've noticed on occasion that during driving a sound will resonate from the manual shifter area, resembling an annoying, slightly high-pitched rattle. After researching it a bit, I found a few other posts elsewhere about said issue, and it was apparently related to the cheap plastic reverse collar on the shifter.

I since then bought and installed an aluminum Barton industries collar. The install preserved the functionality perfectly, however the rattle still remains.
Has anyone else experienced this and found an actual remedy? tisk.gif

I did not notice that, until I had a shop replace my factory shifter with a Steeda Tri Ax.

I adjusted the alignment screws on the lockout collar and it seems to have stopped. I think they were not torqued evenly and the collar was rattling.
