is the little light dimmer wheel thingy by the lights rolled all the way up??
Map Lights v6 2006 mustang
2006 V6 Mustang. Map Lights above Rear View will not turn off. Just replaced battery. Has anyone successfully resolved this issue? Current workaround is removing the bulbs. But would like to know how to troubleshoot this issue. Thanks.

yup! :bigthumbsup i learned that the hard way when i thought my alternator was going on my 85.good call silver. i forgot the first rule, its usually the simplest thing :bigthumbsup
"WHY THE HELL ARE MY INTERIOR LIGHTS DIMMING!?!?!" i thought it was my alternator, and i almost bought a new one, until i realised :doh: my light knob was turned all the way down!
i just tested it, if you have the light wheel turned all the way up so it clicks and the lights turn on, even if you lock the doors they stay on as well.
go outside and roll that wheel down until it clicks, then shut the door and hit lock twice, should clear that right up
