Hey guys this is my first time posting on here, but I own a 1987 5.0 mustang LX and I have changed the master cylinder on my car but for some reason the brake pedal is still hitting the floor and it is driving me nuts, the pedal hitting the floor doesn't as often as I did before I changed the cylinder but I wanted to make sure that this isn't a mustang related problem or if it is just screwing up on me in general.

Thank you guys! Would love to hear your thoughts :D

Have you bled the brakes ? if not Start with the farthest tire away from the master cylinder (the passenger back) and work your way to the closest brake doing the drivers front last. I would start there if you havent done it. Just add more fluid to the resivor before it gets too low and get a buddy to pump the brakes while you bleed them.

you need to bench bleed the new MC before you install the lines or it will take forever to bleed it properly
