MD Motorsports

Ordered my FRPP springs, shocks and struts from MD Motorsports aka Modular Depot, Apton and something else.

Anyway, ordered on the 2nd of January, processed on the 6th and haven't heard or seen anything from them since. I have called and left messages and used their contact page to message them with no response. They charged my credit card already as well.

Holidays are over, SEMA is over and the PRI show is over, so what gives.

At this point I wouldn't advise anyone using them if this is their level of customer service. When you call the ph # posted on their website all you get is a message saying they are on the phone and will call back.

I can't seem to get a response from them either...Ken's tune worked perfectly though...

Wonder what's up over there?
I don't know, but if I don't here from them by today, I am doing a charge back and going elsewhere. Piss poor performance if you ask me.....:anianger:
I'm having similiar issues with rpmoutlet.com. I ordered the hurst competition shifter on the 5th of Jan. and paid the extra $20 for two day delivery. It's now the 13th and still haven't got it. I've called, left messages everything. Their stupid UPS tracking thing doesn't work either. Oh, but they made sure to get their money from my credit card right on the 5th though. Imagine that.
Seems like this is a growing trend. WCPP is terrible now too. WHats the deal. Why the sudden shift away from customer service?
Just reading this thread and wanted to let you guys know (not to rub it in, but to report good customer service)... I ordered a rear window louver from CDC at 8:00 AM central time last wednesday, it was delivered by thursday afternoon.
I have received email quotes from them yesterday with a 1.5 hour turnaround. They have always responded quickly for me...but I have never purchased anything from them (just installation and dyno time).

Thanks:clap :thumbsup
Hiya!

Yes they are busy, so was their FRPP guy. He was at the races. Everyting ordered should now be on the way or delivered! Redbullet let us know the status of yours!

I live close to and am friends/ly with MD but if you run a buisness and charge somebodys card you better deliver or let the custome know what the delay is.

I'll know better Monday when D is in but I think your order was of them that was placed just as their FRPP guy left for the races and not filled until he got back a few days ago... Sorry for your wait and I know the guys at MD are too!
Now my oder page process page says " Page Cannot Be Displayed"

I hope you're right cuz this ain't good. Even if they 'guy' was gone, they should have responded to the phone calls and messages.

I'm not saying they're bad people, this just is not the way to instill confidence in the buying public.

I'll see monday if the order has been sent. If not, I am doing a charge back.
Redbullet... it is sent from another place but it shoule be on the way. As I said I'll know better Monday, so will you.... and again, they're ALL for getting customers thier orders ASAP!!
So they do drop ships for the FRPP stuff. It's no big deal and certainly a better way to offer stuff on the internet and not have to lay in a large stock.

I certainly understand delays and have no problem dealing with them, just would have liked a heads up on it. I have everything else so I can do it all at one time and had expected it here, that is all.

I do appreciate you taking your time and helping with this and am in way trying to give you a hard time.

So again, thanks for your effort.
I'm glad to help when I can... it doesn't sound like MD to leave a customer hanging... I'm thinking some communication must have been crossed... I'll find out better tomorrow.
Hey kj_cinci, not to bug you, but have you heard anything? I still can't get an answer on the phone or response from email.

I have found a local source that can get me the same kit, but they are in short supply, but if MD has sent it I can tell my source I don't need it.

I've been calling MD all day.....
I talked to them yesterday, and Saturday. As I said the FRPP guy have been out of town but is now back... and busy.

It should have been sent but if FRPP is out that might be the delay... but if that's the case it had not been communicated to MD yesterday!

I also know they looked for your contacts yesterday but didin't find anything. When you call you'll get to talk to D and she'll hopefully be able to give you more info today!?!

Sorry for your wait!
FINALLY got thru. Ken at MD says they are having problems getting hold of their guy at the dlrshp handling the FRPP stuff.

Long story short, they are refunding my card and I am getting the stuff local.

My local guy says that the FRPP stuff is in short supply.

Once I get it installed, I'll post pics and a impression.

Kj, thanks for the assistance.
Ordered the full FRPP handleing kit today, Danielle said it shouldn't take too long to get??? I don't care as long as it get here before 1/27/2005. I am supposed to pick the car up that weekend (delivery supposed to be Saturday, very anxious) and want to install the stuff that weekend. I will also keep you guys updated.
