Missing dash piece???

I have tried and failed to see if there is a missing dash piece on my 87 GT. Is there a trim piece under the glove box? To me it looks as if there should be a trim piece instead of seeing the blower and stuff under the glove box.:scratchchin

I think I know what you are talking about and mine's like that too, pretty sure it's supposed to be like that.

My '91 has the lower plastic piece at the bottom of the glovebox, but there is still a nice view of the heater box and cabin air filter. The interior of the Fox Mustangs may not look as nice as that on a Civic, but that is because they spent so much more money giving us 4 more cylinders. ;)

Here's a picture of my passenger side. I don't think there's a specific part that covers up everything, the heat has to be able to circulate.

Well I guess it ISN'T missing a part. Well no one said Ford made the greatest interiors way back then but they made one hell of a motor though:shiny:
