Alright so I recently bought a 2003 3.8 Coupe, and I would like to put some mods on and maybe a power adder down the road...But im having trouble trying to decide what to put on and what brands...I have been shopping around but I am still at a loss here lol. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

gears and a t-lok, exhaust, cai, and alot more things but its all up to you on what you want to do

+1 Also, a tuner. The common advice is GET IT:
Gears
Exhaust
T-lok

Intake
Tuner

not trying to steal this thread just a quick question. Is the t-lok what makes a v6 burn out with both wheels instead of just the one.

u need 15 characters or more to post.. i went back and added to it tho and didnt remove that...

u suggested a t-lock earlier in this thread.. then you asked what a t-lock is.. im saying be careful when you suggest things if you dont quite know exactly what they are

Well honestly I dont have a budget lol...im willin to drop the cheddar on it cause im a single man that lives in a rent free apartment in exchange for the maintance and up keep lol. But i wont be able to drop it all at once. I make 7-900 a week so i can pretty much get what i want within a couple weeks of choosing...

3.73 or 4.10 gears... 3.73 are better for the daily driver if thats what you use it for.

T-lok is a must
Shorty Headers... I went with BBK on this and the CAI. your choice

ya seems like the t-lok is gonna be first priority is it basically like a mini spool for the 8.8?

Something like that lol, but get the gears and the T-lok at the same time. You don't want to have to take that diff apart again. It is a painnn

check out stangmods.com or stangmods.net i dont remember which one it is, but its one or the other, and i think that they have the gears, and t-lok in package deals, just a suggestion

3.73 for manual, and 4.10 for automatic, and daily driving, t-lok (Yeah), headers, not really a necesscity, but they can change the exhaust a little, and cold air intake get the seventy five dollar one from AM

I drive an auto with 3.73.
Word of advice before you get the gears though... Order the T-lok and the gears from ford racing. Your gears will whine all day if you put in those Motive Performance Plus gears from AM. Their isnt anyway you can stop it either. Just remember to order both parts from the same company.

u should get one of those bearing kits too if your rear end has alot of miles.. probably near 100k or so on it
