so im going to order a sct canned tune with the x3 93 octane tune...my question is ive seen some controversy about them being unsafe for your motor causing your motor to run possibly to lean and damage your motory so would it be a good idea to also get a air/fuel ratio meter to keep check on it or should i be fine with out it on a bolt on mustang

imo with the things your already running your car is running rich. so the tunner will get the fullest out of all the things you have alredy done to your car. and it'll probably make it run even better.

IMO, all canned tunes are run a little on the rich side just to be safe for this very reason. You can get an A/F meter but its not really needed. I run mine w/o one and i know tons of other ppl who do also. Once you bolt on a few more parts, a custom dyno tune would be the best thing for you. Specifically made for your individual car :)
