Hi, do you know to what extend are the car parts (eg. brakes, doors, undercarriage, steering, muffler, axle...) of Mustang 69 Fastback and 1970 Mustang HardTop Coupe interchangable? Would it be possible to take those parts from one car (70) and install them to 69 without further modifications?

everything you listed will work but a muffler just buy it new its better. What's wrong with the rear end you have and undercarriage you mean rusted out floors or what?
please dont chop up the 70' just because its a coupe. new metal is readily available and there is no reason to destroy a perfectly good mustang to make another look better.

the doors will fit but the glass will have the be changed. the front fenders will not fit.

it is a unibody car so there isnt an undercarriage you can take off except the front and transmission crossmembers.
not sure how much of the suspension crosses over.

Hi,
thanks a lot for answers. At last I thought better of it and decided not to dismantle the 70. I have another question. Would you recommend me some reliable shop where I could buy online body and engine parts to Fastback 69? I am from Europe and cannot check it by myself, so I need some shop I can trust and somebody who would give me advice. Thanks in advance.
