Has anyone had this problem?

My 96 gt Bucks pretty hard in all gears and on all Tunes from my Bama Tuner. Like when you go to accelerate under load or from a dead stop, it starts Bucking pretty bad. No CEL's and the only code that's came up on my Bama tuner is P0452 a couple of times. I've cleaned the MAF and checked the Gas cap and no whoosh sound.

Any help much appreciated.

So, is it only on the tune? You kinda make it sound as if the problem began immediately after uploading the tune to your pcm, is that correct? Does the problem go away when you reflash to the stock tune? If you haven't tried that, then try that. Report back afterward and we'll go from there.

Thanks for the help, I've flashed it back to stock and seems like the idle is off. Like, it idles a little to high & my exhaust sounds like it stumbles instead of being smooth and still bucks.

We can definitely look into this for you. I'm sorry to hear that you're having bucking issues! I'm not sure if this is within the tune, it doesn't seem to be since you still had issues when reverting it back to stock. We will look into this for you though, give the Bama team a call and they'll help you trouble shoot!

Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

If it's still doing it on the stock tune then you have other issues. The performance tune just made those issues more noticeable.

How are you on maintenance... Spark plugs, fuel filter, etc.? I'd look into simple stuff like that first, as it is usually where the answer to these sort of things lies.

Looks like the plugs and wires were changed before I got it, cause the plugs are Iridium IX's and cleaned the usually stuff. I replaced the Fuel filter, Oil & Filter recently too. Don't hear any line leaking but did have a code of P0452 before.

Hmm... Well, P0452 is an evaporative emissions related dtc (fuel tank pressure low, whatever that means) and pretty positive it should not have any effect on driveability.

Pull those plugs and check them. See what their condition is, verify gap. Factory gap spec is .054", but per the advice of a couple knowledgeable and trusted members here I found that closing it up a little to .046" or so got rid of a little misfire issue I was having.
