I bought my Mustang primarily for the looks, and for the price, and I chose the V6 because it provides better gas milage then the more powerful (and fun) V8. And of course it was cheap too.
But it is what it is. Be satisfied with your V6...it is relatively under-powered, lacks refinement, and buzzess too much, but hey, it's beautiful!!!
You know, this will never end, coulda woulda shoulda. Why do you always have to be faster? Personally I don't buy cars because they are faster than the competition. Ford took a gamble on this one and won, GM, Chrysler saw the sucess and are jumping in, so what. The thing that sticks in my mind is cost, do you think Ford would have sold as many Mustangs if they cost 8K more?
