i know this is a simple question but does anyone have a picture or diagram of where the spring goes on a front disk brake setup? i have been trying for a week to get it back in place with no luck at all.

thank you all

You put the caliper in the caliper adapter (the thing that bolts to the spindle).

there is a slide that goes between the bottom ofthe caliper and the adapter. The slide is retained by an internal wrenching shoulder bolt.

Put the spring on top of the slide, concave side down before tapping the slide in place between the caliper and adapter.

Thanks for the reply. I think that is how I have it now but it is really tight and the brakes are dragging. I was hoping I just put the spring in the wrong place.

I just replaced the boster and beleave i adjust the push rod correctly
Any ideas what could cause them to drag?

Thanks again.
