HELP!! Ok, so I just got a 2000 V6 in lovely condition with very very few miles... :happyhapp even drove it home (tx) from vegas.. Then some wacked out person in a tahoe hit me (passenger side) and took off leaving me with $2500+ worth of damage.. ANyway, she still runs great except for -here's the problem-- when I turn my steering wheel it makes a popping noise now but only when the wheel is turned! AND my blinker has kinda gone crazy..:eyebulge: Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be AND how much more is it gonna set me back??? :help:

either your wheel is rubbing on something or one of your ball joints could have broke. Either way your best bet would be to take it into a shop and get them to take the passenger side front suspension aparts and find out what broke. blinkers going crazy, check your bulbs.

It may be the axle.....

Thanks for the input.. I took her in to brake check and lets see they said my right wheel is pushed in a little and it may be my axle..:eyebulge: My poor baby is going thru some stuff right now and all because of a tahoe!! BLAH!!

hell if I still was living in College Station and had my shop down there open I would take a look at it for you. I bet you just shifted something out of place on the front end, like a control arm.

So guys, how worried should I be? My coworker has me freaking out. She has an old model car that she really doesn't take care of but she was driving one day and she couldn't make ANY turns.. Turns out it was her axle and her brakes and other stuff but yeah, she has me paranoid everytime I make a turn. I need to take her to a shop and get her fixed but I can't find a none shady collision specialist.. and trust me I've been searching..:sosad:

popping is never a good thing. Take it to the dealer. Heck, they had the lowest estimate when my car was damaged by a car wash.
