2003 Mustang.

Did not come with factory installed door body side molding to help against door dings.

Have checked and I can get the OEM parts(2) for $110. I would just install them myself.

Question is do the factory molding offer any protection? It seems there just not thick enough to give the car very good protection. Anyone installed them? Your thoughts? Thanks!

I wouldn't bother with them and just park out a bit when possible
