It's my understanding the Mustang plant will be shut down for 2 weeks real soon. Does anybody know if our cars on the infamous Ramp 51 will be shut down too? Or will the quality control checks they are supposedly doing continue? Obviously I am hoping our cars aren't part of the plant shutdown and if by chance they are truly in-transit, they will continue moving, if at a snail's pace.

Rut roaw. Are we talking re-working the ramp 51 cars and a factory recall of the ones already delivered?

Last I heard, shut down is production line only for changeover to 2nd run. Supposed to keep shipping what has already been built. But, with the mounting pile of lies from Ford, who knows.

The plant was closed last week and this week. Production begins again next week, though this is NOT Job 2. Job 2 starts Aug. 16th.

Prior to the break, there were two shifts building cars, now there will only be one, running 40% faster than before.
