Using the tape would work and the paint would be just fine :bigthumbsup
Mustang Pony Emblem
Hi there,
I have an 08 V6 and I'm looking to install a pony emblem on both the right and left fenders. Could I just use sticky tape to attach the emblems or would that destroy the paint? Thanks

The stock emblems come with good sticky tape on them. You'd have to cut off the two locating pegs on the back of the emblems, though. I had them on mine for about a year and removed them to put a different old style GT back on.
