mustang swapped ecu question

ok as you know im working on a 87 mustang with mass air conversion.. i was reading alittle bit about stuff with the a9l.. mine is
e9zf-12a650-a2a A9L my question is that isnt the computer programmed for 24 lbs and you have a mass air meter program for 30 lbs would the ecu still run it or is that too much for it??? i was also told there are two kinds of a9l's one for 19 lbs and one for 24s is that right?? thanks for any info..

factory al9 or the stock 88 threw 93gt's all where 19lbs...now if you had a cobra they came w/ 24lbs injectors and a maf calibrated to it....your other question for it to run w/ optimum performance you want your injectors to be calibrated to your maf...you do not want an off set match on these...it will cause a problem.
they cobra computers had a dif. num. then the al9...plus your computer is not programmed for 19lbs...it does not matter what size injectors you run w/ it...what matters is what your maf. is calibrated for...did you buy a stock maf?...if you did it is calibrated for 19lbs. injectors.
