Hello forum. Does anyone know if this sealer is still available or if it has a modern equivalent? Thanks for a great forum. fjd

Is that the old lead paste thread sealer?
I use either copper based antiseize or Loc-tite / Permatex 518 depending on the need. 518 is a gel anaerobic flange sealer that works good on threads too.

Thanks for the responses PaulS and Calponycarsmike. That sealer number is right out of the 1966 shop manual. My transmission is a 3 speed manual 3.03 top loader with a very small leak at the bottom where the housing extension bolts to the case. The shop manual talks about putting sealer on the bolts and I was hoping that was my problem because the leak is right at the bottom bolt. Thanks PaulS I will give the 518 a try. Best Regards, fjd
