It has 213,000 miles and has only gotten hot 2 times. Is that normal? Not boiling hot but hot! I drove about 100-120 today with only a few short stops in California 80 degree weather!

Its the center console between the front seats. Driver side.
Please I would appreciate any feedback because I love my car! Thanks

The transmission and exhaust pipes are right under there. In a 80 degree day I will opt to drive my new car rather than deal with the heat slapping me in the face. One a positive note if you ever want to change the carpet you can insall some dynomatt.
