The leather seats in my 96 cobra are very dirty. Looks like the previous owner never cleaned them. They are tan and have dirt lines that look like spyderwebs.

I heard of someone mixed up a bucket of Tide loundry detergent and watter and scrubbed leather seats with a soft cloth. Then rinsed and used leather conditioner. I've seen the before and after and the results were impressive.

Does anybody have any experience with laundry detergent?

Can you suggest anything else I could use?

I hated my tan interior for my 95GT, probably why i pretty much switched everything black from a 98 Cobra donor.
+1 about the degreaser and leather conditioner, that's what i did when i had the tan seats.
