My New Pony

Here is my new pony. I got there just as the detailer was working on the car. I didn't take it home today because the finance guy wasn't working today. In the mean time the sales manager asked if he could display it on the showroom floor because the color was so different than the rest of the GT's he had on the lot. Here are a few pics.

Looking good!! Man, I have to get mine cleaned up and get some pictures. I've been on the road or at work since I picked her up. She's filthy right now and it's killing me!
Congratulations!!!

Congratulations on an excellent choice. May all rides in your stang feel as much fun as your first.

So this dealership can't sell cars on his day/days off or are you working with this particular finance guy for some other reason?

I was wondering that too... then I looked at the suroundings in the pics... not your average dealer lot, maybe it was detailed elsewhere...??? :winks

(BTW, thanks allot, now I got the urge(?) to go out and clean the car... sigh!)
Real nice! Is that guy scratching his head over that dent in the door?

No, he was confused by my wifes question "Can we take it home now and pay for it next week".

Yes, I wanted to work with a particular finance person. She closed the deal on my '04 Super Duty Diesel last year. She is very familiar with me, no jokes please, also I am currently working another finance deal with my house and I don't want to screw that up with the purchase of a new car. My car showed up almost 10 days early.
Congratulations Brian!!! She's a real beauty. :thumbsup

Hey Z, looking good! I'd leave it right where it is in the pic. that way no googans can park next to it :sterb: My dealership is so tight w/ parking, you have to contort getting out of your ride. That's why I hate going to the dealer. Good luck w/ the new ride :winks
Looks real nice. Mine is same color w/18" wheels, came in on Thur aft. Stopped by the dealer Fri. morn. to look at on the way to the airport for a 10 day business trip (Brazil). Went for a ride with the head mechanic (one of my best friends) for the pre sale checkup. He wouldn't get on it for me. Said he'd leave it for me. Told the owner have it ready on the 19th for me to take home. I orig. ordered in January. No allocations left. Had to wait for an 06. The wait didn't get long untill now that it is here. Now I just have to deceide what aftermarket parts to install first from the pile I have acquired in the garage while waiting for the car to come

ENJOY

You got that right! Plus, who wants all those strangers sitting their dirty butts in YOUR new car?!?! I'd DEFINITELY pass on leaving it on the showroom floor - simply too many things could happen to it.

I only agreed to let him showcase it if he kept both set of keys away from the salesmen and kept it locked.
My M3 came in while I was at work... the sales guy called me and told me it was 'safe on the show room floor'... I was not too happy with that. But it was locked with a big orange SOLD sign in the window... Many offered to pay over sticker that weekend, luckily they did not bite! (I paid D-plan, 8,000 under sticker!)
