My Trac ON/OFF button isn't working?

I decided to just go pressing random buttons on my car... and when i pressed Trac Control, the light on the button didn't come on. So then I pressed it again, and the light still did not come on on the button. My dashboard has no Trac ON/OFF indicator on whatsoever.

Does this mean that the Trac control all together isn't working? or is the button just not working?

It should be on by default, if not it either does not have it or the system does not have power.
