Howdy, I always wanted one of these cars.
I am the owner of a 1988 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT.
I never thought I would get my hands on one, but here it is.
I've always loved the body, loved the engine and liked the people that
choose to drive them.

Any how I reccently replace the timing chain, timing cover, water pump,
some hoses, radiator fan, fan clutch, spark plugs, distributor rotor and cap, wires...
and yet somehow I don't think I'm anywhere near done.
I read today on how to set the timing on it, just to realize that the reason
I don't understand some of it, is because its missing parts(so far for sure
the spout plug) any how,
does anyone know if I can set the timing without the factory equipment thats
supposed to be next to the harmonic balancer pulley. Because, thanks to
this forum, and the graciousness of its members, now I do believe someone mess
with my new car. The audacity of those thoughtless people to sell me a car
without a spout plug.(by the way I now know all it is, is a jumper or connector,
or a set of wires that close a circuit beween two other wires so that the ECU can
do its job. Any how, I really apreciate the info I've received here, and
I hope I can help.
