I'm wanting to get Dual Exhaust for my 2000 Auto Mustang. This is the kit I am looking at. http://performancepeddler.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=FLO17275 Is that a good kit and is it reasonably priced? If it's not, could you link me to a better one? Also, I am 16, just getting my license. I have around $2200 in the bank for my car. Could anyone here give me a rough estimate for my insurance? Since, I don't have my license, I can't get quotes. I just don't won't to spend money on the car if I can't afford the insurance.

insurance rates vary by city block, man. you're gonna have to call around to get the best quote for your area.

FLowmasters are liked by a lot of folks on the boards. I've seen 'em go for 350+, so I can't say anything about the deal, you'd find a better one only in overstock situations.
I've looked around and I am now torn between that and the GT takeoffs. The only thing I don't really like about the one I listed is that it is 2.5" I was looking for 2.25" So:

1. GT takeoffs with 40 series Flowmasters

2. The Flowmaster kit

Right now I am leaning toward the GT takeoffs. Any comments or suggestions will help.

good deal now go buy some 40 series flowmaster mufflers for like 80-100 bucks each and you might save a bit.

hangers 40 bucks >< Ouch.

gl man it'll sound nice! may still need that conversion pipe from Y to H - pick around a yard or off a GT somewhere.

May lose some torque.
