I am currently working on the front end alignment on my early 1965 Mustang Coupe. I am using George W Liskey's diagram to measure the frame rails on my car and so far the car seems to be in good shape. Were I need help on is on the front fender aprons. The car has been hit on the front left of the car before and my aprons are not measuring up when I do a cross measure. When I align the oval alignment holes on the new Dii radiator support with my original apron I'm getting 55 1/2" from the battery side to the driver side and 56 1/4" from the front left to the passenger side. When I measure across from each square hole the measurements go from 43 5/8" on front to 45 13/16" on back. I have the hood and fenders bolted up loosely and the lines look good on the door and cowl... but the gap from the fender to the hood are quite excessive... If you have a reference or have done measuring in the past please reply. Thanks!
