i agree 100% #1ford. with the amount of labor charges you`ll save, you can buy plenty of tools and more parts :gringreen not to mention its a good feeling doing stuff yourself. ive done all my work in the driveway, or a small shop space i can only get my car 3/4 into. and ya, my trans flush is the only thing ive paid for so far, dagnabit :rollgrin:
but i grew up poor, and my dad taught me there was nothing i couldnt do myself, just as he had to do. so i took what he knew, and his common sense, a hundred times farther building engines from scratch and what not. and i never had the internet or guys on forums to help. that lesson has saved me megga thousands in my lifetime. i dont care how old you are, or what workspace you have, its never too late to start learning how to do things :bigthumbsup
