Hey guys I come to the experts no hair left. I have 97 Mustang that has been converted to 5.0 from the V-6. Alot of choppy work here. This car runs hot and there is so much pressure in the engine blowing oil out of the did stick which smokes badly of the headers. Here's what I do know 302 block bought here at local eng rebuilder co. Heads not sure where they came from. They keep saying something about a reversible water pump. Everything other than the block is basically junk yard. Still has original radiator in it to. Just rebuild the 2brl carb that looks like it has been sitting under water for yrs. Has the egr valve that comes off the back of carb spacer. They have installed duel exhaust but have left the cats on. So any ideas other than starting over????

Not really....., excessive blowby + overheating = engine in need of an overhaul. Anything else is an unreliable band-aid. Sorry.....:sosad:

If everything but the block is in such bad shape, you'd probably end up doing an overhaul just trying to find out where your problem is. Don't waste your time, play it safe and rebuild.
