if somethig is brocken in that block its better to get a new one.it hapened to me bearing went out, rod went through block
Need Help On Svt Cobra Engines
Hi Has Anybody Heard Of A Svt Cobra Engine That Has Spun Its Main Bearing And The Block Being Junk Because You Can T Fix It???? ...i Ve Heard That Once You Spun A Main Bearing The Block Is Junk Any Help Would Be Great Thanks

If you only spum the bearing and did not damage the block or crank, you can take your block and crank to a machine shop to fix what is necessary. Such as line bore the block and turn the crank. The machine shop will tell you what size bearings to go back with. It's a cast iron block and if their is no other damage you will be good to go. You may even be able to reuse your rods. As long as they aren't damaged. Good luck.
