Hi, I just purchased a 1965 that the driver's door had been replaced.
Can someone help me with the build date for a new repo door tag.

Based on the numbers, this is what I found but others (Veronica)will chime in with a fairly exact production date.

Year: 5 1965
Plant: R San Jose, CA
Body Series: 07 2 Door Hardtop
Engine: A 289 4v V8
Unit: 249602 249602

can you find a buck tag under the hood. mine was attached to the passenger side front fender under the hood. this will help you decifer some more building.

the other thing is you can order the basic marti report and it will give you the build date, but if you order the marti report order a replacment door tag at the same time

As far as I know the Marti reports are only from 1967 up. I didn't think there was a report available for 65 and 66.

Hello. The scheduled production date of your car would have been about 27U, which is July 27th of 65. And, you are correct. Marti reports are only available for vehicles built after the beginning of the 67 model year.
