Need help with check engine light.

Seriously tho..lets help this guy out! With a computer controlled car and OBD II it could be ALOT of different things. You need to go to Ford, or go to autozone which will do it for free and have the car scanned. Then u can get a code and it will tell you what it is. After u get that and you still need some help, let us know what it is and we will try to help!

have you changed anything on the car lately?? did the light come on after you got gas? is it idling rough or sputtering when you try to accelerate? we need more info to help you out.

4.6L Check engine light

I put a new intake on it and it came on then we checked it and it had a leak so we fixed that and it went back off. Now it's on again and we checked everything again , but can't get it off. It doesn't run rough but it does drink gas like crazy. New wires and spark plugs.

Is there any smoke coming from the exhaust when you start it or nail the gas hard?

Go to Autozone and ask them to read and clear the code, then tell us what the code is. :winks
