did you relieve the pressure from the line? You should be able to feel the quick disconnect push all the way in and then you should be able to wiggle the line out with out a problem.

The red would be my first thought. Once you have the tool under the spring, the connections should come apart easily. You may have to push the tool in farther than you think you do...

What tools did you get? Multicolored plastic ones?

With the plastic ones...use the one that is seemingly one size smaller than fits over the line. That will be the one you need to spread that spring. It should somewhat *snap* in there.

I spray a little WD-40 in there first and never have any problem getting them apart.
Hi, I’ve done all of the suggestions befor even resorting to the four I’m. My motor sat for a while as I bought it used. I’m thinking the fuel has glued the fittings together I warmed it up with a soldering iron but will not budge. I fee, see and hear the tool working but it does feel like it didn’t work. I broke a plastic tool by using pliers to make it go farther in. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you
