i have a 1986 5.0l with the old gauges
my speednometer don't work unless im in fifth gear on the freeway when its in any other gear the meter just say that im going 0 mph when im going at least 30mph wat could i do too fix this?

sounds like either the cable is bad or the gear on the transmission end is bad . Mustangs unlimited sells the gears .
