I need some help with my 91 . The engine has alot of mods but I still feel lack of power and throttle response why could that be .. mods = engine boredover
heads ,cam , 70 throttle body airintake msd distributor ,coil (msd box nit installed yet) headers Pulleys
Could the stock pipe be restricting it
or maybe I need to upgrade fuel system

Please help and tips would be appreciated. And by the way car is still smog legal

Did you buy the car like this or did you do the upgrades? The smog stuff if a restriction. How new are plugs and wires? What gears you running? What's your timing set at? What grade fuel do you run? Is your tps set correctly? You check to see if your mass air sensor is clean inside the sampling tube?

The fuel system would need to be upgraded if you have a fuel problem. Is it running lean, or pinging? Is it starving for fuel on the top end?

Are you running the stock rearend gears?
If you are get rid of them, they are highway
gears. A shorter gear will really wake up
your engine.

It has 373 gears ...I bought car with the stuff done .. I put in 93 gas in it and plugs are at least 7 months old .. I'm not sure the timing is set to
