My tranny took a $%#@ after 2 years of thrashing, i'm replacing it w/ a tricked out piece from texas motorsports, while i'm ther i'm also replacing the rear main seal and oil pan gasket. I saw the thread about the aluminum flywheel and was thinking of upgrading mine. What do you guys think? please tell me pros and cons. I use this car everday to commute to work b/c it wastes less gas than my f-150 but i'm going to park the stang in a couple of months to use it as my weekend warrior. :smilie

for a street car i dont think there is a benefit from an aluminum flywheel. less rotational mass, yea but a steel one will last longer, as in more than one clutch with abuse.
