I have a 1992 notch with a 351 cleveland goin through a c4 trans, I need to know what to do with the fuel tank, I want to run the mechanical fuel pump and I dont know what to do with the fuel tank in the car becasue it has the electric fuel pump, can I use a 79-85 carb'd tank or will I have to get a cell, Thanks for any imput.

I'm sure you can, I would go ahead and try if it was me. The only issue I can think of would be the front driver side corner of the tank. That flat metal portion needs to be dog-eared for dual exhaust. Not sure about fuel level sender compatibility between the earlier sender and the '92 gauge circuit though.
