The general recommendation is 3.73 auto and 4.10 manual. The rpm of an automatic with 3.73:1 gears is approximately that of a 4.10:1 in a manual. That's because the final drive of the two cars is different, the manual and automatic have different gear ratios. Thanks for all the input so far. As far as gears go, would I see any driveability issues going to 4.10's behind my automatic? This is my daily driver and will be for some time to come. Also, has anyone changed their torque convertor out for a higher stall? Basically, what is still streetable? Again, thanks for all the input.
The 4.10:1 in the auto shouldn't be a problem. I went with 3.73:1 to get a bit better gas mileage on the highway.
