Hi all -

We traded our 2007 GT in on a new 2012 V6 Premium convertible...better mpg, and this stealth black package is just flat "sinister lookin' " :kooky:

But... we lost that "throaty sound" the GT is famous for...

Suggestions PLEASE on exhaust options to get that throaty sound back pu-lease! :worship - nothin' that "crackles" when you step on it... too european

Borla...? Magnaflo? Flowmaster?

ANY help would be welcome....THANKS!

I'm glad someone started this thread because I was wondering the same thing and I don't think anyone else asked about exhausts yet. It's about time. Let's talk about exhausts.

Yeah, I'm ordering Roush myself any day now.. just need the funds to be right. I don't think the wifey would be too happy for me to cancel our vacation to Orlando so I can afford Roush instead! haha.

Is it just ME....or does anybody else feel like they're on the re-start line at a european road race track when they hear the Borla's revving?

Coming down to the Magnaflow Street Series, Flowmaster 817497 and the Bassani AB....

Convince me otherwise! :yup:

It's all about personal choice, but to me ROUSH Owns magnaflow and flowmaster (I just feel like everyone has flows...) but Bassani is still a nice sounding system.

I'd say Roush, Bassani, or FRPP.

I really like my custom pypes set up. I just got some Pypes M80 mufflers and new, larger tips. Doesn't cost very much but sounds much more aggressive without being obnoxious. It also costs less than half of a regular catback.

Damn Dynomax and their low cost! Or Magnaflow and their nice catback... But why does Bassani only offer AB's?

I have the Magnaflow Street Series cat back and love the sound. Plus I got an awesome deal at Magnaflow Exhaust Solutions-Hottexhaust.com, shipped for $562.02 + TAX :)
