Hey guys so I just bought a brand new 2014 v6 automatic. I've put 200 miles on it and now suddenly every time I go over a speed bump the front suspension makes a grinding noise. I don't notice it except for going over bumps. I've never owned a mustang before. Is this a common problem? I've made an appointment with the dealer but I'd like some knowledge about what it could possibly be before I give it to them. Any help is appreciated.

Common issue. Usually lower control arms. Take it to the dealership, they may or may not fix it.

Yes covered by warranty, they have a replacement LCA for the cars already that fixes the issue they just won't recall them like they should. Ford would rather replace parts as they come up messed up over and over than put out a recall like they should.

I have had this issue twice in my 2013 mustang. Both times the noise was only prominent in sub 50 degree weather. The dealer replaced the front lower control arms each time under warranty.
