I am about to build 331 based on Dart Sportsman 8.2" deck block & looking at around 600 fwhp.
Heads will be Yates with 280cc runners with individual intakes and throttle bodies. Crank has been lightened and has Honda sized journals.
Retainers are titanium.
As it will rev to around 7500rpm & have a hydraulic roller cam, I am wanting to know what lifters I can use that would still be stable at those revs.
To help I want to keep the valve train as light as possible - I have titanium retainers but do not want to use titanium valves as they are not the best for street car operations.
So what other valves are available.

838-16 will be right at home at those rpms

My bad... I just noticed you'll be using a hydraulic roller. IMO that is NOT the way to make 600 @ 7500.
I suggest you rethink how you're goin to get there.

Hydraulic rollers would more than likely not be efficient at 7500 rpm, you might want to look into solid rollers. Based on the specs you intend on using, that would be a better choice.
