This weekend we built my new 347 stroker for my 95 Mustang GT. SCAT 4340 Crank, H-rods, Probe Pistons, Holley Systemax2 Upper, Trick Flow TW heads, Trick Flow Stage 2 CAM, BBk equal length headers, 24# injectors, 70 MM Throttlebody. The rest of the rest of the engine is pretty much the stock '95 stuff.
It started right up with NO LEAKS!!! We ran it for about 20 Minutes at 2K to break in the cam and rings. When we let it try to seek idle, it just stalled. It was necessary to keep some pedel in it, or it would just stall. Shut it down, cooled it off. No fluid loss.
I've been told that the I need a new Mass Air meter, from a 95 cobra, and an idle position senser because of the larger injectors and throttlebody.
Any thoughts on keeping this thing running??
