New 5.0 Owner

Whats up.
just bought a 2012 5.0 about 3 months ago.
Long story short i purchased the car and 45 days later had a knocking sound.
luckly i purchased 5 year warranty and the engine was replaced with a brand new long block. Took about 16 days. have been driving the car for a few weeks and good so far

here are a few pictures and all i have changed are the wheels and window tint.
thinking of getting bc racing coilovers or going bigger and getting the air lift kit. let me know what you guys think.

Did they do a tear down of your old engine to determine what caused the failure?

the paper work said oil was contaminated with metal debris and after inspection found Rod #7 coming apart!

looking at the part number it looks like a 2013 2014 engine but i guess its all the same?

How many miles were on it when you got it?

the car had 48k miles i believe. engine replaced at 53k.

Better check your oil level. According to that repair order they only put in 7 qts of oil. The engine holds 8, so you may already be a qt low.
