Hey all,
I'm installing a new 6 gauge cluster in my 67 coupe, just time to replace the current cluster and I wanted a tachometer with it. It's going to be all electric and I feel confident about hooking up everything except one part.
The current gauges are the original, we ran the wire that normally goes to alternator to the the electric choke. But when I install the new cluster, I want it hooked back up. When I can afford it, I will be re-wiring it all, but that's going to be a while.
What should I run the electric choke off of - any suggestions?

I'm still on a learning curve here, so you might have to dumb down the answers a bit.
Thanks in advance!

Ign. on power. Since you will have the cluster out you should have lots of options. Wipers or heater fan are two good options. On my 1966 ford had a 3 spade bullet connector that was ign only power that you can tap into with a bullet connector. I believe it is a single black wire with red stripe(?) that comes from the fuse block and ends in a sealed connector with 3 bullet ports.
Just make sure to ID ign. only power for the choke.
