new camshaft, camshaft swap

mmk. ive been thinkin about doin a camshaft swap. i need some help picking the right one though. my car is a 94 5.0.

i want a cam that will give me a lopey, agressive idle, and i want to have a good torque range. right now my car has great low end torque all the way through about 3000 rpm. i would like to keep that but increase the high end torque to around 4500.

i also dont want to ruin my gas mileage too much...if somebody could post a link or something i would appreciate it.

With the GT40 setup you will be just fine with the stock cam and maybe some 1.7 roller rockers.

If you're just looking for a good idle (shouldn't choose a cam based on the sound BTW) then go for the Trick Flow Stage 1 cam. It sounds good and should make decent power for that setup.
