Hey guys! I'm new here and haven't had much experience with my Mustang yet. I received a 1965 stang from my grandma as a first car last year and I am planning on working on it this summer. After I get her up and running again and I get her nice and safe, I'd love to get a new engine to show up all the kids at school in their 2004 stangs. As of right now, I have a 200 6 cylinder engine. That's about all I know. But I want something cheap, with a lot more torque and a lot more horsepower. I heard getting a 300 some 6 cylinder from and old pick-up truck or something heavy is a great way to hit speed fast and maintain speed. Is this true? I don't necessarily look to race right away, considering I'm a new driver and with all the blood sweat and tears I'm putting into this beautiful piece of work, I don't want to risk beating her up too badly. I just want amazing sound and amazing performance. Plus, isn't it always great to be able to have amazing speed when needed? Thanks for the help and I'm looking forward to reading what you all have to say
