Heyy so I want to put a new exhaust system on my car and was wondering what everyone thinks? Flowmaster 40 series or 44 series? What do you guys think would sound better on a 1994 gt 5.0?
Or any other suggestions?

Mac system. Long tubes, H-pipe, Pro dumps. Also, I'm not being a poop but this is the V6 section. You would get much more accurate feedback if you posted this in the 5.0 section.

well chick.. lol jk.. if youre set on going with flowmaster, ull love the sound of the original 40s on the 5.0.. but a lot of people are leaning towards the super 44's coz it has a more aggressive rumble to it.. i dont know anyone that tried the super 40's so i dont know how they sound.. only heard them on youtube, but listening on youtube and listenin in person is completely different.. hard to say.. also the exhaust note will change if you get aftermarket headers and a h/x-pipe..

Were you looking to do a full system? Or just mufflers?

I wouldn't go with flowmasters at all. Every mustang has flowmasters on them, thats why i got rid of mine. I went with spintech super pro streets dumped. Sounds VERY good. I'd like to try slp as well.

LOL yes super turbos and flowmasters have a very identical sound...the super turbos have more of an old school muscle sound to them. If you heard it in person you'd be able to distinguish. My 86 had flowmasters on it with the same exhaust system. When you listen to them together in person they sound a bit different
