Welcome to AFM! That looks like a fun project! I like those wheels. Does it still have the 289 in it? What are your plans?

Not going crazy with this car. maybe drop it an inch, clean up the interior, and paint it black. Yes, its got a 289.

I'll be spending a lot of time in the classic section for this!

Your 64 and a half.......

Hey Tom, This may sound like a stupid question but how are you able to distinguish the 1964 1/2s from the 1965s. I have a 1965 but someone told me they thought it could be a 64 1/2. Is the serial number an indicator?

There are many differences which you can research.

for mine, I checked the serial number, It has a generator instead of an alternator, it has the vinyl/cloth code 56 interior, and the original owners manual dated from July of 1964.
