Hello All,
I live in Cedar Falls Iowa and do not yet own a Mustang. I had every intention of buying a used 2007 or 2008 Mustang GT until I heard about the 2011s. Now I don't know what to do. I really did not want to spend 40K on a car and don't want to wait two years. I am not sure I would be happy with anything but a 2011 now.

Oh What to buy

I am new too to this fine forum (and it is). A new GT out the door base Deluxe is around 32,500 period.

Not quite 40K but close.

Although the S197s are now totally outclassed by the new pony in town it does not mean they are not a blast to drive. Plus fun to tweak.

You can get a nice clean S197 GT manual for anywhere between 17 and 20k. Between 05 and 08 there is almost no change. However I feel the 08 is the best of the S197 genre of Stang.
